Beyond
A participant follows a ritual narrative inside a circular screen, with an instrument, light and shadows as co-performers.
What happens to a sense of agency when a space stops responding as expected?
A shadow-theatre concept: drum strikes summon light, sound and moving silhouettes, then the space changes its rules of response.

Inside the work
A journey inside the circle
A participant finds a drum on a central pedestal. A strike triggers pulsing light and echoes, and dancing shadows appear on the translucent circular screen. The narrative gradually removes the expected response: sound and shadows withdraw and the instrument returns to its place.
Light, sound and action
The scheme connects a piezo contact microphone, transmission channel, TouchDesigner, projectors, rotating silhouette stands and synchronized sound. Impact, delay and noise enter the score. A mask, drum and nature soundscape function as elements of perceptual theatre.
A study concept
The concept was developed for a Contented learning module on light. A presentation, storyboard and technical scheme for the shadow theatre are retained.
