W.01 / Artistic question

How can a selected moment of collective experience be preserved in a small wearable object?

A selected two-minute EEG passage from a collective meditation facilitator becomes the geometry of a silver pendant.

Inside the work

A selected window

During a collective meditation, the studio recorded the facilitator’s EEG and selected an approximately two-minute interval. Its Neuromandala became the form’s source: smooth inner loops and an outer rhythm ring translated to a compact disc.

From signal to object

The geometry was developed in a three-dimensional model and fabricated in sterling silver with cold enamel; rhodium and finishing belong to specific batches. Front and reverse repeat the wave structure. The archive retains the source mandala, renders, photographs and specification.

A wearable archive of attention

The work continues the object line begun with the ODA.dream rings: a chosen moment becomes a wearable archive. The pendant’s form is based on an EEG recording of the facilitator during a group meditation.
