Journey to Yourself

A participant enters a low-stimulus environment whose unfolding is conceived as a response to changes in breathing and attention.

The work is presented as a written concept.

W.01 / Artistic question

How can a change of internal pace become a way of moving through a virtual environment?

A contemplative VR concept: breathing, attention and internal pace become the principle for a gradually unfolding environment.

Inside the work

A minimal environment

The initial environment is conceived as low-stimulus. As pace and attention change, the scene gradually unfolds. This artistic principle connects internal observation with perceived space.

Proposed applications

The concept proposes an immersive area, a contemplative practice and a learning module about attention, the body and perception. Sensor selection, VR equipment and session duration are tasks for the next development stage.

Presentation and adaptation arrangements are discussed with the studio.
