Inside the work

Act I: Nothing is clear

The audience is initially seated onstage, and eight volunteers approach a table of devices. Headsets and wrist sensors pass from spectators to dancers while the audience voices its interpretations. Two areas—traditional shamanism and techno-shamanism—leave the action open to interpretation. The devices enter the dramaturgy before their purpose is explained.

Act II: Now everything is clear

ODA.dream and the company reveal how the system works. EEG visuals, spoken associations and pulse data become material for studies. The presentation used four EEG channels and four pulse channels. A system failure becomes part of the score, exposing the fragility of the experiment.

A realised laboratory performance

The work was presented with the Innovation Ballet Theatre on 22 May 2025 in Kaluga, at the close of the Tsiolkovsky Festival. It followed meetings and laboratory sessions in 2024; Interference of Realities became the next work in this line. Project Schrödinger is currently outside the repertoire.
